East meets the West at Thai Dish Restaurant

When you think of basil and garlic, you think of Italian food. When you think of pineapple and coconut, you think of Hawaiian food. Chiles and cilantro: Mexican food. Mint and peanuts: Southern food.Looking over the menu at Thai Dish you’ll notice just such a diversity of ingredients.

We use a lot of fresh vegetables and every think is prepared just before it is served, it is natural, healthy food, with less meat and more vegetables…mixed with herbs and spices.

Thai cooking uses flash cooking which requires high heat and minimal cook times and helps the ingredients to retain nutrients as well as flavor. Thai food is different from other Eastern cuisines because of the use of curries, herbs, and spices.

At Thai Dish, you can order any menu item from mild (one star) to extremely hot (five stars).In a typical Thai meal, all dishes are served simultaneously and the individual dishes are planned to contrast in flavor, texture, temperature, and aroma.

Thai Dish offers such items as Escape to Paradise, a chicken, pork, prawn and calamari dish, which is stir-fried with vegetables and jelly noodles. The laughing Flamingo includes seafood sauteed with vegetables in a yellow curry sauce. There are also more familiar Thai dishes such as Cashew Chicken and path Thai.
